Tour by ferry

From Easter to late September ferries connecting opposite shores of the lake are the ideal way to visit the villages on Garda.

Arriving directly to the harbor from the lake means that you immediately see the oldest part of the town, surrounded by stunning scenery, on the background of green mountains.

The ferry offers the perfect point of view and has the advantage of being economical and practical: it costs 35 Euros a day and you avoid queues in the car and the search for a parking. There is a ferry from the south up to north and after 52 km and 4 hours of sailing, it returns from Riva del Garda back to Desenzano, but I suggest to limit the tour to half of the  lake, so you have more time to stroll through the narrow streets and visit museums and churches of several villages, both on the eastern and on the western shore, moving from the lemon groves of Limone and Gargnano to the olive groves of Brenzone and Malcesine.
